Ladies, I just could not stand the cut I got, so, I took it all off.
The lady at the BSS was upset with me for cutting it all off, she said she has been doing hair for more than 10yrs and she has never seen hair as healthy as mine was, she said the back just needed more care thats all. Made me feel really bad, but it was time to start over so, :ohwell: . I did it anyway.
I don't like the short hair on me, but I am excited about starting over.

You will be amazed how quickly you become attached to you cute twa. It will come real fast. And you won't have to handle the two textures.
I like it...verysharp.

Wow. It reminds me of me when I first went natural. *happy sigh as memories of spiky cute hairstyles abound* I couldn't take the transitioning process, so I just sliced it all off. It looks good on you. You have a nicely shaped head. You'll get used to it in no time. Trust me.

Bolded section: It never ceases to amaze me how personally OTHER people take it, when someone decides to cut her hair. My thought is, "Hey, it's mine. I'll do what I want with it, so stop making me feel as though I've let the entire race down by cutting mine off." :wacky:

Wow, it looks great! Are you planning on relaxing when it grows out or was it your intention to be natural? What didn't you like about your initial cut? Sorry for the questions.

Your twa is beautiful! Doing the bc must have been a freeing experience for you! It will grow back quickly and you won't have to deal with the relaxed hair frustration. Congrats.

I am not sure what I will do when it grows out, but I know for sure that I will not be bone straight. So either texlax or just stay natural. I didn't like my initial cut b/c it was not straight.

I did not really transition, I was only 10wks post, but I was very confused about what to do. This was no easy decision my any means( as everyone can tell my my numerous posts in the last week):ohwell:. I never ever imagined myself with a TWA, I am very excited to see what happens now. Now that I have done it, I hope it will be smooth sailing.

Congrats. Your hair will grow in no time. There is a member Crissi growing her hair out from a fade. Check her out for inspiration.
