Isn\'t it ironic?

I never cared how much hair came out of my combs & brushes before finding hair boards. Sometimes there would be golf ball sized hairballs everyday. So what, didn't care, hair still grew.

Fastforward to now. I lose a mere fraction of what I used to and now I get upset if I lose 5 or less strands per day.

Me too! I find myself counting hairs after a combout.

I truly understand. When I see hair in my comb, I try guess the total amount of strands. Thank God it's very minimal since I've re-committed myself to my regime.

When I first joined the boards, I was a fanatic about the amount of hair I lost each day. I was always a big shedder, especially in my scalp dermatitis flare up periods. When I joined LHCF, I read about the ladies that were losing less than 20 strands after washes and I panicked because I was losing much more per day. Now although I do montior the amount I lose, I don't fear, cause I know that since I've been taking good care of my hair, it only going to do that healthy shedding. It's the BROKEN short hairs that alarm me.

Anyhow i know exactly what u mean .. I wouldnt have golf size hair balls but i wouldnt really check that much and now i dont even comb my hair. I think im just going to lay back and do what i used to do before, cuz my hair still grew then

I have been seeing more hair in my comb nowadays I think mainly because it is a sign that I need a perm.
