Is Wave Noveau finishing lotion a good moisturizer?

The Wave Noveau finishing lotion is a great moisturizer for ends if you don't want a product that has so much water in it, that it will wet the hair and cause reversion. It has the consistency of a lightweight creamy lotion, but has a silky feel like a serum. It really is good on dry hair, and you don't need to use a lot. I'm going to use it in my moisturizing spritz when I make it next week. I tried it after I read that Sunshyne from Hairlista uses it as her primary hair moisturizer for her relaxed ends.

I really hated it. It made my hair feel sticky and greasy. Maybe its better on relaxed hair, I was natural when I used it.

It's not good, IT'S GREAT!!! I am transitioning and my NG and relaxed ends love this stuff.

I have relaxed VERY coarse 4b hair and this is my staple moisturizer. I used to try other moisturizers but this is the best one for my hair. I'm going to stick with it because a lot of products dont work for my coarse hair.

during this healthy hair care journey, I came to a cross road when i found myself going without moisturizing and sealing (sometimes for a whole week) because it was interfering with me being able to wear my texlex hair in straight styles. see the moisturizers that i had come to love would leave my hair slightly wet and puffy. and the oils were a little too heavy. Well, I too heard about WN finishing lotion from Hairlista and thought it was worth giving a try. I had realized that I was being foolish to forgo healthy techniques (moisture and seal), that my hair was thriving off of, just to rock a certain style. And the next week be feeling a world of guilt :(
So i decided to wear buns until I found a moisturizer that did not make my hair wet or puffy and an oil that did not weigh my hair down. and when I found WN i knew I had hit the JACKPOT. WN is so light, yet very moisturizing. I apply it to my ends and even my roots (when they feel a bit dry) and do not have too worry about puffyness. Come to think of it, I even apply to my roots when they are puffy. It makes them feel silky, sleek and tamed. And to compliment the WN, I seal it with the Argon oil. because this oil too is light and leave your hair very silky. This is the best combination of moisture and oil, especially for straight hair. I also use this combination when I am rocking my wash and sets. I can still moisturize each day and my curls still have that softness, body and life to them.

I also found that with me only finger combing throughout the week, i can really detangle and remove shed hair very well after applying WN.

i know this was long, but Im sorry, I just love this stuff.

And remember, a little goes a long way.

I am relaxed and I didn't like it at all. The first day or two I was indifferent and then it went downhill from there.

I had a wet and wavy weave done at a braid shop right after I bced and they put that stuff on there. I didn't like it. It was sticky and greasy like. :nono:
