Nope. Wanakee is a former fashion model who has now totally dedicated her entire life to Christ (I think she's a minister? I could be wrong). She's the first Black woman I ever read (in Essence years ago) who explained, in achievable steps, how to "grow"/retain long hair.
The Hair Lady, I don't remember her name. But she is not Wanakee.
I understand the confusion, though. /images/graemlins/smile.gif They're both beautiful women with gorgeous heads of hair.
