I don't like the way this stuff weighs down my hair. It doesnt really moisturize it either. It's almost as bad as grease. :( Does anyone else not like this product? What's worse is that they are using it in ALL of the Dominican salons around here now and have done away w/some of my faves like alfa parf and alter ego!

No I had the opposite experience with Una. My hair loves it and it leaves my hair moisturized and detangled. It's a keeper for me. But I guess everyone's hair is different and each head of hair has it's personal likes and dislikes. Hope you find something that works better for you.

A frican Hair Grease-Like Product?

lol...

what IS una?

The Una that I use is Una Moisturizing Masque treatment for dehydrated hair. I use it as a deep condioner. As Lovelylocs stated a lot of Dominican salons use it. My sister received it as a Xmas gift from her Dominican stylist so that's how I found out about it.

hmmm... maybe it is b/c the stylist gave me a deep conditioner from the etnika line. :( Usually those kinds of products are loaded w/oils and grease. Perhaps one of their "main stream" conditioners would be better for my hair.

The etnika line even has an "exotic" scent.

What are the ingredients?

eta.............. Lordy! that stuff costs a fortune! Too rich for my blood.....
