:lachen::lachen::lachen: So funny because its true! They were missing the lit cigarette next to the oil sheen (yes, my childhood hair dresser used to smoke while doing my hair).

Oh wow. I have never seen a smoking hair dresser. One that talks to much? Yes

Look at these "ruts" (roots)
"We gon use a super this time"
Too funny. I've seen all that and some :lachen:

I wish that I couldn't related to that. I was once told by a stylist to come back to the salon later because she was getting her hair done and she didn't feel like being bothered. I was supposed to be her first client of the day. I can laugh about it now, but at the time, that walk back home in 100 degree heat was not funny.

Another time I sat in a woman's chair and her friend came in, stood by me in the chair and started talking about...:nono: I'm not even going to mention it. But the stylist said, "Girl, be quiet, you know my client don't want to hear that mess" and without missing a beat I said, "I sure don't", nose turned up and everything. I don't know why people act like the person whose hair they're styling can't hear them talking either on the phone or with someone else in the salon.
