Is This Still a TWA?

As the title of this thread suggests, I am wondering if my afro currently still fits into the TWA category. I think yes, but I'm not really sure. What does the middle stage look like between a TWA and a BAA? I don't really know. erplexed

Also, just so you can see where my hair started off back at the end of January, here's how my hair looked when I first BC'd.

I hate this pic BTW!!!

And here's what it looks like now.

So, what do you guys think?

Oh wow! Thank you so much for this!! Especially that first thread! Looks like I am now crossing the border from a TWA to a TA! Huzzah!!!

I think you may be in the middle stage between a TWA and BAA. I'm also not sure though.

My hair is growing, but patience is not a strong point for me. Besides that, it's gotten to this really awkward stage where it's kinda hard to do anything with it.

Yes, well patience is one of the most important lessons we must learn. The awkward stage will pass before you know it.

It's picked out but as we all know, even a big afro can shrink up to look like a TWA. I just wanted to know if my picked out 'fro would still be considered a TWA.

I voted "no" especially after seeing the current pic (that you hate ). Isn't it something how it's all a matter of perspective? We do so well to not even let others define us, but I guess sometimes it's in us to want to know others opinion. Raising my hand, 'cause I'm guilty as such too sometimes. If you simply must accept other's opinion, I guess you could be said to have a TA vs. a TWA; after all, it's NOT weeny any mo chile; it's just teeny. How's that? If you want to see standards for TWA check out mine in Fotki, ha ha ha ha ha.

To LovinLocks, I certainly know what you mean by letting others define us, but understand that that was never my intention. I merely wanted to get some unbiased opinions about my current length. That's all.

Whatever anyone else says or thinks about my hair is not going to change how I feel about it, but it never hurts to hear the thoughts of others, ya know. That's why we all joined this site in the first place. That and to look at hair porn.

And I agree with you, it is all a matter of perspective.
