Is this Real Shea Butter??

I just got my order from a website today.

The Unrefined shea butter that i received is an off white/ivory color, hard, and when i rub it between my fingers it melted smoothly but its oilyerplexed Maybe its because Im not use to heavy oils i usually just use EVOO or coconut oil.

It looks just like this BUT i did not order from this website.

The smell is ..differentIt doesnt stink but it smells like its been cooked or some one was cooking with it.

Can you ladies please help me, Is this the real shea butter? Are there any old threads on this?!

Shea butter comes in different colors and normally has a nutty smell. Some people like the smell, personally I don't. It is very thick and melts when you rub it between your fingers like you said, so I am guessing you got the real deal

your description shoulds right and it looks real to me
shea butter is a butter.....it should be kinda oily when it melts....

and it should have a nutty smell like MAMATO said

Yep: That's exactly how it looks ! Smells light & nutty.
