I'm thinking of ordering it - any thoughts? Who still uses this? :look:

I've never seen it in a jar...mine comes in a bottle that's approximately 8 ounces. If that's a jar of it, I'm all over it because I looves me some Lacio Lacio! Where'd you find it?

I really love it. I have only used it twice but loved the way my hair felt after use. I have fine relaxed hair. After wash out from deep conditioning I applied to wet hair and worked in. I then blow dried my hair and it left my hair feeling soft and reasonably moisturized (considering I blow dried). I love Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 as well, but not on wet hair for blow dry. When I used Hawaiian Silky the same way my hair didn't feel soft it felt stringy (I may have used too much). HTH.

Hmm, I always get the one in the bottle. I have never seen it packaged like that before. Lacio Lacio is my favorite leave in..it leaves my hair very moisturized..this stuff is the Truth!

How much are you ladies paying for your lacio lacio? The one pictured above is 2.99

I'm going to check that website...I usually pay $8.99 for 8 ounces so I'm wondering if that's the same stuff.

ETA: It's listed under "vials" which makes me think it's just a really tiny amount (it says 0.66 ounces) of Lacio Lacio. In that case, it's expensive for the amount you get.

That's not a jar. It's actually a picture of a sample size. It's a small glass vial and costs about $1.99-$2.79.

I haven't used Lacio since my last bottle........they stopped adding the mink oil (booooo) and it felt different to me. My last bottle was packaged in DR, the new bottle are packaged in the USA. Man I lurvvvved that stuff.

This is why I'm being very careful with the tiny amount I have left. I have been in search of the original formula and cannot find it. I'm scared to try the new formula because I'm so hooked on the old. I've been inspecting the bottles and can't find any with mink oil yet but I'm not gonna give up. Thanks for letting me know that the original is packaged in DR!

Well wouldnt you know...the mailman just dropped the box off! :yay: cant wait to try it!:grin::grin::grin::grin:

Let us know how did turns out.

Where did you order yours from? Are you able to tell us where yours was packaged DR or USA and if it has mink oil in it?

I paid about 8 bucks for mine from BeautyofNewyork..I like them, very fast shipping..I sure would love to know who is asking 2.99 for it.

Yeah SQ, thanks for mentioning the site you ordered from. I suppose the yjbeautysupplies.com site I came across is selling it in tiny vials like it's creamy crack or something

Will do!

I did a product exchange order from beautyofNewyork.com:yep: The bottle says it made in Santo Domingo DR but packed and distributed in Puerto Rico. No mink Oil but had no clue Mink oil was in the older bottles.

Is this the leave in version - never seen this type of packaging...I am with the other ladies - mine comes in the 8oz bottle and costs no where near 2.99 - I think I paid 11.99 - it looks like the jar mentions protein - some kind of DC???

OMG! I love this stuff it softens my natural 4b hair INSTANTLY and it stays that way after it dries. It really does moisturize. Lacio along with Joico products have completely turned my hair around for the better! Lacio is my moisturizer, conditioner and light protein. I only use that and seal with Sabino.

I also heard that the new bottles still have mink oil in them but they can't print it on the labels here because mink oil is banned in the USA but it's still in there, well that's what I read in an older thread.

I heard that too. Maybe it's a "secret" ingriedient. :sekret:

I bought the same exact vial from a BSS they had a bunch of different trial sizes at the register. It was $2.99 I was so glad I didn't pay 11.99 for the full size because I hated it. my hair was so dry and crunchy after using it.

Wow I know they say that everything doesn't work for every one but I can't imagine this stuff making anyone's hair dry or crunchy. Are you sure it wasn't something else you were using in combination with it?

Mine is exactly like that and cost $2.99. I need to go back to the BSS to see if they have any more, I looove Lacio Lacio. It makes hair soft and smooth after drying.

Everything else was the same, I used it after a co-wash with one of my staple conditioners. I tried it a few weeks later and it did the same thing.

I loooooove Lacio Lacio. I get my from a local BSS (the one in the bottle), I always go back for more, got my mom and sister-in-law hooked on it.........lol.....Good stuff!!!
