I'm going to start off with the Regular henna. All it's going to do is make my hair shiny right? no color right? I'm a punk when it comes to "out the box" for my hair
So, it may do that for yours, too. Cassia is called "neutral henna" and won't add color. Regular henna may add some color to your hair. I have allowed the dye to release, but my hair color had a subtle color change, nothing major. BTW, my hair is dark. Happy Hennaing!
