Hey everyone, i've been interested in gettng a texturizer for the longest and I have finally decided to take the plunge. The thing is I can't seem to find a sytlist that has experience with doing texterizers so i'm going to have my mom (who is a former hair stylist) to do it for me at home. So basically i'm asking everyone to give me some step by step instructions and pointers so that we will know what were doing and hopefully get it done right.
Along with instructions i have a couple questions.

Since my hair has never had a relaxer what relaxer do u suggest that i use?

Do u think i will get better results if i add EVOO to the relaxer, someone told me thing makes the relaxer more gentle on my hair?

When u texterize do u part her hair in different sections? I was thinking i should part my hair in four sections?

and....

Whats the difference between underprocessed hair and texterized hair?

Thank U verrryyy much in advance for your responses.:)

Well, first, I don't add anything to the relaxer I use. I use Elasta QP in regular strength. I also apply the relaxer in sections...

ANyway, underprocessed hair and texturized hair are essentially the same thing---it's relative to what texture you're trying to go for....

Click on myregime in my signature, scroll down the contents list and you will see "How i texturize my hair" the learners way, HTH you may get better advice from the more experienced ladies such as curlycurly.

I prefer to do my hair in sections too. This is mainly due to it being extremely resistant to relaxing. I determine the size/location of the sections by my hair type/curl pattern. Different sections require different processing times.
