Is Proclaim the Keracare wanna be of Sally\'s?

I've noticed that some of the products at Sally's are "wanna be's" (not meant in a negative way) of some other name brand stuff out there. They are similar w/ similar names, packaging, etc.

Here are my speculations:

Proclaim--Keracare
Biotera--Biolage
Slick Line--Matrix Sleek Line (same color packaging and everything)
Beyond The Zone--Tigi Bed Head
ION--(this is a big guess) Nexxus
Aura--Aveda

Those are the only ones that I can think of right now. Can you guys think of anymore? Can you confirm any of the ones above?

I think you're definitely not...not too sure about the Ion products either though.
Have you tried any of the Proclaim shampoos or conditioners?

The Proclaim cholesterol is to die for! I love it so much...it is the best moisturizing deep conditioner Ive ever used!

The only thing I've tried from Proclaim is the oils (really good ingredients too), but it's the packaging and the name that reminds me of Keracare & Affirm.

Ah ok, Supergirl. I've never seen the Keracare line.

Babygurl, I am SO glad to hear you say that about the cholestorol. I went to Sally's today in search of a deep conditioner. I saw the Proclaim and that it was only $1.49 so I bought it. It seems pretty rich. Hope it works for me, too!

The only ones I'm really sure about are:

Biotera - Biolage
Aura - Aveda

Does anyone know for sure about the others?

I'm pretty sure about the Aura-Aveda twin.

Beware when using Proclaims moisture conditioner. The ingredients are exactly the same as in Motions moisture plus but doesn't behave the same. Made my hair crystalize!

Here ya go:

Water, Stearic Acid, Petrolatum, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 80, Mineral Oil, PEG-75, Lanolin, acrylates Copolymer, Aloe Barbadenis Leaf juice, Cholesterol, Triethenolamine, DMDM Hydantoin, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Proppylparaben, FD&C Yellow No. 5, FD&C Yellow No. 6.

It smells really good, too! These are the directions on usage:
Shampoo hair, towel dry. Apply Cream Conditioner Cholesterol liberally. Allow to remain 5-15 minutes, then rinse from hair (Do not re-shampoo). Heat delivered by heating cap or hair dryer can also be used to enhance conditioning effect. For extra dry hair, apply a pea sized dab and work through damp hair. Style as usual.

I tried the Proclaim Cholesterol Deep Conditioner today and I liked it! It smells good and it's very thick/rich! I let it sit for about 30 minutes and then sat under the dryer on low heat for 20 minutes, I began to rinse it out. I could tell that it had penetrated my hair b/c as much as I put in, there wasn't much to rinse out. My hair was very soft afterwards. It's a keeper for now!

Im so glad you liked it, Ive loved this product for years....its cheap and it works!!! I hope anyone else that is trying it will get the good results Hairlove and I have gotten! Also just for an extra tip, Ill add oil or honey to make it even better!

Are there any other products from this line that you like? I use the Proclaim 7 Oils all the time. I have tried Proclaim Curl Activator but I think it's flaky. I'll have to try it again in the future.

I use the glossing polish sometimes....but I love their aloe hot oil treatment. I think Ill start to try more products from Proclaim when my other products run out.

Proclaim does have very good prices (from what I've seen at Sally). I've never tried any of their products though.
