Hey ladies...what strength relaxer is needed to straighten 4b or tightly coiled hair. I'm talking lye not no lye.

Thanks

I have 4b, course, resistent, tightly coiled hair and I use Affirm lye mild with EXCELLENT results!

. The hair and scalp specialist that I spoke only uses mild relaxers in her salon, no matter what your hair type. So I think that a mild relaxer should be fine.
