Is it okay to clarify more than once in a week?

I was thinking about doing my first rollerset today. I know I should clarify first, but I clarified like 3-4 days ago. What do ya'll think?

I wouldn't....that could be very stripping....Their are people who do ....but I would never personally advice it...

I wouldn't do it because like Traycee said, it's too stripping. The only way you might be able to get away with it is if you use something gentle like acv (very diluted) but I still wouldn't do it. Are you using a lot of products or something? You really shouldn't need to unless you're using an awful lot of something.

well I've used IC Fantasia gel and leave in and I knew I couldn't go straight into rollersetting after using those products. Thanks ladies! I'll cowash and try rollersetting next week:ohwell: Thanks ladies!!

I wouldn't do that clarifying twice for the reasons stated about, but i WOULD try to co-wash rollerset tonight (with all the extra stuff in your hair) just so that u have something to compare it to for the next time u clarify and then rollerset. might just be me, but i like to have points of reference, things to compare my hair to so i can see what my hair really likes, how it reacts, etc.

IC Fantansia doesn't have cones in it, does it? Does your leave-in? If not, I would say you don't have to clarify - just rinse your hair, and that should take most of the products off, I would think.

I wouldn't clarify, but maybe you could use a regular shampoo before you rollerset. I've clarified and used a moisturizing shampoo in the same week with no ill effects.
