is it ok to relax my hair

if i have so much postpartum shedding or should i wait til its over (who knows when that would be)? my last relaxer was in August and im due for another in December. Do you think the relaxer would make the shedding worse or have no effect?

That's a tough call...I think that I would wait until it slowed up significantly before slapping a chemical on there.

When it comes to your hair, always err on the side of caution

I don't know of any science on the subject to advise you one way or the other, but if your shedding hasn't stopped by the time of your scheduled relaxer, I'd wait a few more weeks just to be safe.

well I will be honest I had this problem and waiting longer made it worst because my hair can't go too long without a relaxer. But whatever you do continue to moiisterize it and tame that NG

good question..i just dd a reaxer, and i dnt think i will be doing another until febuary, prolly longer...
