I'm planning on having a relaxer in September sometime, and would like to airdry for once after relaxing, rather then blowdrying.
Does the heat after a relaxer re-align the hair in some way? can i airdry in a pony as usual?
reason being is, i want to semi dye my hair in October and will definately want to use heat afterwards, so i figured if i skip a heat session in sep, then the one in oct can replace it, and my december relaxer will be my final blowout of the yr to mark the end of Hide Hair Till Xmas challange!
thanks peeps x

Then, usually the next day or so, I flatiron for a trim. The only thing heat would do is make your hair silkier and lengthen your hair out a bit more than airdrying alone would-- but its not mandatory. Good luck!
