Is Michelle Obama is the Wig Challenge-low key. I saw her last week on the campaign trail and her glossy, perfect fall back into place hair was a litle longer than I remember seeing it about two weeks prior. Then today when I checked my youtube, I see a vid from OFA with her feautured in a shorter bob.

I think her wigs are so good and she only changes it slightly so most folks aren't sure if it's just a new style or what. W
hat do you guys think? I'm off to look for pitchas.
 
I've been thinking for a while that she's wearing some pretty good, be-weaveable Lace Fronts. IA: I've been thinking that since they got into Office.
 
I was thinking the same thing!! If it is those are some good lacefronts. Must be a presidential line exclusively for first ladies.

Its her hair. I remember her stylist Johnny Wright saying that she would go shorter and she has. I saw him last year at a convention. I said because of contracts he cannot talk too much about her hair (products, texture, regimen).
 
I'm glad to see this thread. I've always felt it's somehow taboo to even suggest that FLOTUS wears a wig...

I don't thinks it's disrespect. I really admire her intelligence and beauty. However, I'm not willing to suspend disbelief. She wears very good, very well styled wigs. They seem quite obvious to me, the way the part (wig) start 1-2 inches form the hairline while the natural hair in the front is used to blend/cover. I've yet to see a picture with a clean part that starts at the edge of her hairline. Also, when she wears her hair pulled back, the texture and the color don't match what we see when it's loose; it seems duller and not as silky.

I really can't blame her for wearing wigs, especially when they're so carefully and tastefully styled. If I had to style my hair for public appearance every day I'd be bald in a month!

If she is wearing a lace front or a wig it looks excellent because I've always thought that it was her hair. Very classy.
