Okay experts, my hair seems to be a bit under the weather today!
I cant tell if I need a trim or a little hair pampering!
My hair seems to fuzz a lot lately and I cant tell if the ends are dry. They are not splitting because as I've been consistently clipping them out of frustration, none of the strands have been frayed or anything.

Lordy, what shall I do?!

also, to any naturals....how are my ends supposed to feel?

I get this feeling when I use Elasta QP Mango Butter. My ends always seem really dry and crispy if i apply it to my soaking wet hair and let it dry.

Recently Ive just been co washing, towel dry and Use Dark n Lovely Citrus Braid Sheen. Its awesome on my natural hair! I got it for my braids and remembered how soft my hair felt when I took out my braids. So I thought why not use it on my regular hair? I did and my hair feels really soft now and not a crispy/frayed end in sight. But dont cut anymore It wont help (esp if your scissors are dull). I noticed that If i do a blowout, the ends are really soft, but in the curly/nappy state they arent. I think the curls/naps entertwining with eachother causes that rough feeling.

omg...I SAW A SPLIT END TODAY!!!!

I just coated my hair with some Parnevu T-Tree Growth Creme...tonight imma try clarifying....

My hair was even dry in the shower! I hope its just buildup or something!
I think I'll do a deep conditioning treatment for a couple of hours too!

UPDATE!

I did a pretreatment of Lustrasilk herbal cholesterol with Carrot oil and added some of Africa's Best Organics Carrot Tea Tree Oil to it and then heated for a few seconds. I left it on my hair for an hour or so (maybe longer, i cant remember).
I conditioner washed it out...I added baking soda to the conditioner too
I did this on tuesday nite and my hair is definitely feeling better.

I think that i shouldnt have equated dry hair with damaged hair!
I definitely learned from this!

I hope your deep conditioning works well for you!

The key to softness for my hair and ends is I absolutely must use a good creamy leave in conditioner before applying any oils. I currently use Abba Nourishing- its been a staple for a couple of years now.
