Is it better to mix oils or put them in your hair one at a time?
I have a few oils that I love:lick: and putting them one one at a time in the morning is taking more time than I would like.

Would mixing them have the same effect as putting them on one at a time?

Would they even mix?
:perplexed

Yes, I think so. I mix coconut oil/hemp butter and this was a great marriage.

I also use coconut oil mixed with shea butter---keeps my hair soft, no build up and it isn't gummy or greasy.

Good luck and happy mixing.

I would say go ahead and mix them...I'm pretty sure alot of ppl on the board do that with great results. I mix oils for my prepoo all the time and my hair always comes out soft :yep:

What does hemp butter do for your hair? And where do you get it from?

Thank you keyawarren. I just ordered some hemp seed oil and I'm contemplating buying walnut oil....I think I'm an oil junkie:look:

I love castor oil mixed with a lil' EVOO or coconut oil. Works better than the castor by itself IMO.

Okay....sooo after almost 2 weeks of using my oils mixed...I have come to the conclusion that my hair prefers to be high maintenance and have each oil put on it one at a time. My hair doesn't feel as good as it usually did with mixed oils. I f that's what my hair wants, I guess I have to take the extra 3 minutes in the morning to maker her happy!
