Is Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship in the UK under a different name?

During my lunch break today I was in Superdrug (UK store) and noticed that Herbal Essenses had a new range called Beautiful Ends in red bottles . Anyway, they have a leave in for dry/split ends in a pump action bottle and I was wondering whether Beautiful Ends is the UK name for LTR. I've heard so much about the LTR leave in on LHCF and want to try it. There is no mention of Beautiful Ends on the HE UK's website.

ahhhh. time to post ingredients. This is the list for the HE LTR conditioner. Can you post the ingredients for the UK version for comparison?

Water, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearamidopropyl, Dimethylamine, Raspberry Juice, Hydrolized Silk, Glutamic Acid, Bis-Aminopropyl Dimethicone, Fragrance, Benzyl Alcohol, EDTA, Citric Acid, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Chloride, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Red 33

Sorry, I don't have the ingredients as I didn't want to buy without checking first.

I stopped off at Superdrug before work this morning and purchased HE Beautiful Ends Protection Cream which is for dry/dull ends, protects against breakage. It can be used on wet or dry hair and contains red raspberry and silk extracts. It is currently on offer for £1.59 (will usually cost £3.99). BTW all HE products are currently on offer at Superdrug. The thing is I currently have my hair in kinky twists with extensions so will have to wait until I take my hair out to try it.

The ingredients are:

Aqua, Stearyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasilaxone, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Glutamic Acid, Dimethicone, Benzyl Alcohol, Parfum, DMDM Hydantoin, Citric Acid, EDTA, Sodium Chloride, Limonene, Butylphenyl Methlpropional, Propylene Glycol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Citronellol, Hydrolyzed Silk, Rubus Idaeus Fruit Extract, Linalool, Amyl Cinnamal, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate

There’s a lot more ingredients than LTR.

^^^ That's probably because you bought the cream, while tada1 posted the ingredients of the conditioner. I saw the line as well, and was wondering whether they're the same product. The name of one of the US products is "Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Leave-In Split End Protector Treatment" - so I assume they are the same.

Yeah I saw the Beautiful ends one in Superdrug too and though it was the UK version but looking at the ingredients quite different.

Btw US HE Totally Twisted is It's a Curl Thing in UK

Okay, here are the ingredients on my bottle of HE LTR Leave-in Split Ends Protector for Long Hair.

Aqua, Stearyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasilaxone, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Rubus Idaeus Fruit Extract, Hydrolyzed Silk, Dimethicone, Glutamic Acid, Parfum, Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride, EDTA, Propylene Glycol, DMDM Hydantoin, Red 33.

Although the ingredients are very different they are both supposed to do pretty much the same thing. BE is still not on HE's UK website. But saw an ad on tv a few days ago.

I resisted buying !!!!

Anyhooo back on topic I squeezed some on my hands at superdrug when I just popped out to the shops and it seems to be the same as my friends HE LTR.

Also ladies Sainsbury's is selling the shampoos and conditioners (400ml) for 1.70 each.

Thanks for confirming Stellagirl76. I took my kinky twists out last week and forgot to try it for the few days my hair was left out before twisting again. HE is also on offer in Morrisons.

^^^ Not sure but I know Pikey-Drug were when I went in there earlier this week.

Also Sainsbury's is doing the condish for 1.70 each....:yep: I am gonna pick some up for co-washing for Hols to avoid the inevitable damage of all that salt water.

I think it is basically the same thing, it is called the 'spitzen star' in Germany. The EU has stricter declaration laws, which probably accounts for the differences in the ingredients lists.

Hey Ladies... This is my first post on LHCF!

Has anyone tried Beautiful Ends cream yet???
I've been using it for a couple of days now and i'm liking it so far... What do you ladies think?

I tried beautiful ends a few months ago and loved the smell(mmmmm) the texture was nice and cremy. It kept my hair moisturised. The only thing that puts me off is the price vs the size of the bottle

Has anyone else used I need hear more opinions before I consider buying.

I used it. It was good on my new growth but so blah on my relaxed hair. I'm assuming it works wonders on natural hair.

I used it for a bit but I changed my mind. If anyone wants it, PM me and I'll send it over free of charge. But I'll have to send it off on either Tuesday or Wednesday because I'm quite busy.
