hey guys the reason why I am asking this is because i've been taking vitamins pretty consistently for the last 3 months and I added MSM to my vitamin in take as well over the summer. So the other day I took out braids that I had in for about a month now and I put in a a mild optimum relaxer in and it didn't take at all only a little and I have fine hair so I'm wondering if the vitamins specifically MSM is making my hair more resistant.

I think that sulfur in particular makes hair more resistant. I noticed that after I started using BT my hair was more resistant to the relaxer. I think it's a good thing though, b/c that means the protien bonds are stronger -- right?

I've been taking prenatal vitamins for 2 1/2 yrs and my hair relaxes the same, im guessing the other vitamins have higher concentrations of certain things so maybe thats the difference
