Anyone know? That girl's hair it to die for!!!

Did anyone see the epi where she had it pressed out? It was so long and thick and the person who pressed it left a lot of texture to it. It was beautiful!

I haven't watch Y&R in years, but is Dru still played by Victoria Rowell? If so, I'd guess that it's her natural hair since Victoria is biracial.

IDK who plays Dru now a days though.

Yep! That's her. I didn't know she was biracial. We have just about the same skin color. Who knew.

Yep! That's her. I didn't know she was biracial. We have just about the same skin color. Who knew.

Yep, she's biracial (White mother and Black father) and was in foster care for 18 years! As someone posted she now has a foundation dedicated to foster kids because of her own time in foster care. She's a seems to be a very sweet and humble person.

I don't know, but do remember that one's biracial background doesn't mean that they do not use any chemicals in their hair. She is pretty and has great looking hair, whether texturized or not.

Her hair is gorgeous! My guess would be either fully natural or maybe with a silkener (but then again I haven't seen her recently).

I wasn't trying to say that she has natural hair BECAUSE she is biracial, but I know that she had/has 3a/3b hair type from when she was wearing her hair natural and short BACK in the day. I'm sorry, but I have many biracial friends and most (if not all) have loosely coiled hair. Of course NOT all biracial (in this case black/white mix) have loose coils, but that's what I get for generalizing.

I think the list is just compiled with the "stars" statements about their backgrounds. Anyway, I just posted that link for a source. I knew she was biracial because she was on Oprah years ago and talked about her biracial background and being a foster kid. She was talking about being biracial in the context of her daughter, who was very young at the time and had blonde hair/blue eyes. She told O that she was sick of people asking her who's baby...

She's natural. I remember seeing a show for Y&R. Neil was the host talking about different aspects of the show and Drucilla came on the set. He asked her about her hair commenting that it's sometimes curly, sometimes straight and she said that she comes to the set with it natural and they sometimes blow dry it straight.

ETA:

I read an article about her in one of the hair magazines. She stated that she had a bad experience with hair color and had to cut her hair. I think that is why she was wearing the fall. It was that stint that she had with blond hair (a brief moment). The bleach will do it to you sometime. If I was there I would have said "Don'ttttttt doooooooo it, Gurrrrlllll!
