I still call it texlaxed because I have a lot of texture left. I can't really wash n go anymore, but I'm fine with that. I'm looking forward to growing my hair t o the long length it was when I was younger. I had APL hair. Lets see how long I can grow it!

I use Clairoil Natural Instinct Midnight Black. I t is a demi color which washes out in about 28 shampoos. It lasts longer for me because I cowash. I plan to co wash my relaxed hair also. I'm going back to basics by doing mostly wrapping and roller sets. I plan to a deep conditioning with ayervedic (sp?) powders and oils once a month. Since I am 2 lengths, cheek level on my sides and neck level on my nape, I really don't know what to put as my starting length. LOL! My hair is still really thick. I'll be using BT and sulfur 8 as my grease. My hair loves Sulfur 8 and responds well to it. I only grease my hair once a week after each wash. I used ORS no lye relaxer for fine hair, but it severely under processed me. Next time, I'll use extra strength. I want to use minimum heat for my wrap and roller sets. I am so looking forward to growing out my hair.
