is cool setting on dryer bad for hair?

i have been using the cool setting on my hair dryer. sometimes i even use it with the comb attachment which i know is bad, but most often i take my hand held dryer (hard to find a bonnet in france) and my little plastic cap and use the cool setting to dry my twists or flexi rod sets a little faster. is that bad for the hair?

For my hair it would not be. I can see the comb attachment being worse for your hair (at any setting) than the cool setting on the dryer alone.

But, everyone is different. I know some ladies that use a comb attachement and have not problems. I just can't without damaging my hair.
