Hi!

Does anyone know: Is coconut vinegar the same as coconut water vinegar?

No, they're not the same. From reading the descriptions, coconut water vinegar is made from the water inside the coconut while coconut vinegar is a by-product of an alcoholic drink similar to vodka and is made from the sap of the coconut tree, specifically the flower bud.

Coconut vinegar smells like regular degular ol' vinegar, at least the brand I bought.

It's making me think perhaps coconut WATER vinegar is what I was supposed to use and that perhaps it doesn't smell?!?? Ionno!

I bought some coconut vinegar for that same detangler and it didn't turn out well for me, but I think my hair just doesn't like being detangled with wet stuff like conditioner.

I use the coconut vinegar in my spritz bottle now, haven't noticed anything special.
