I can't create a regime, because I never stick to the same thing. I just started back taking my One-a-Days 2 days ago, and my hair actually sprouted 1/4" since then, no kidding.
Also, I'm back with castor oil, and my hair is reacting to that as well. I have no dandruff, my hair is growing, life is good right now.
I have not taken any vitamins this week because I accidently put them in the bottom of my suitcase. I am trying to make sure that I won't forget anything.
I second the motion - it is great when you can - but the reality is you have to put time aside to do it - and sometimes it feels like there are not enough hours to a day!
I feel like I NEVER do the same thing twice. The positive bend on that (or so I like to tell myself) is that I always give my hair what it needs when it's "asking" for it. The flip side is that because I do so many different things, I never really have a sense of what's optimal for my hair...
Right now I'm in a wet bun phase. Just can't be bothered. With products
, with vitamins, with rollersets - even with wearing it curly. It's all too much work. I CO rinse daily and pull it back into a bun. Watch my hair take off growing now!
i have slacked off with vitamins, water intake, and actual combing. the first two is just my forgetting. the last is paranoia. i'm scared to pull out hairs. so i just condtioner wash, then pick with my fingers.accordingly
btw way thank you for reminding me to take my vitamins with this post
I used to to be so inconcsistent, I would try many differnt shampoos and conditioner. But........now I am consistent. Ive been using the same shampoo, conditioner, styling aide and roller set for the past 5 weeks. And my hair stays maintained.
Re: Is anyone here inconsistent with their regimes
I joined this board in May and was in braids at the time -- couldn't wait to take em out and get started. I did and have been extremely consistent with my regimen, however it's been only two months so who knows. I'm sure everyone was this way in the beginning.
I am very inconsistent with the products I am using, but I am consistent with making sure to wash my hair at least two times a week. I told myself that I would not purchase any more shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers, etc. unless I have used up what I currently have. (Of course my last purchase was Vanilla Monoi Oil on Monday
)
Hopefully, I can narrow it down to the products I want to use and have an all around consistent regime
I'm consistent at being inconsistent, LOL.
I don't beleive I can stick to a regimen. Just when I get to doing something for about a month or 2, I go looking for ways to change stuff. I have a ton of different poos and conds, although, I thinkI'm in heaven w/ Keracare detangling and humecto. These 2 have been like no other I've tried, and my hair is loving it. My shedding has come to a near complete hult, I get about 10 hair max in 1 day, and when I poo it's basically none. It this keeps up, Keracare will be part of my regimen, then I'll add on to it as I go along. Althoug I moisturize on a regular the products I use changes w/ the wind, LOL. I love lustrasilk moisturizer, thats a keeper for sure.
I'm back and forth between the dryer and airdrying, so I dont know about that aspect of hair care. My hair is so funny acting just when I think I know what it likes, it acts up. One thing I know for sure is my hair DO NOT like braids, I had to find that out the hard way.
Dang I'm rambling, O.K. I'm done
