There was an uproar when this first came on the scene, but I don't hear anything about it anymore? WHo still uses it?

I'm sure people are still using it. I still plan on purchasing at some point. You must have missed August; Aveda threads were everywhere it seemed.

Yup! I use this, a staple once a week for me, I've adjusted the order I use them, I now prepoo/DC for at least half - an hour with the intensive treatment and then use the shampoo and conditioner...still making my hair feel WUNNNERFUUUULLL :grin:

I use it but I only use it the week prior to my retouch and the week after (twice weekly). My hair doesn't like or need too much protein I guess. I only use it to protect my hair before the chemical process and to help it recover afterwards:yep:. All of Avedas products are great. My hair loves them.

I love this range, I have been using it for about 6 months and am still happy with the results.

I'm still using it. It's done wonders as far as strengthening and softening my hair. It's aided more so than any other products in moisturizing my hair and preventing breakage. I did havea problem (tangled hair) when I switched from Aveda DR to NTM but I did not have that problem when I switched from Aveda DR to the Dominican Olive Oil Shampoo/Conditioners. Aveda is by far my favorite though.

I use it and love it too. However, I only use the conditioner and not the shampoo. Do I really need to use the shampoo to get the full effect? Right now, I'm sticking with my Keracare Hydrating Shampoo then following that up with Aveda DR Intensive Restructuring Conditioner .

I used used to use it every week up until two weeks ago when I started alternating with aubrey's honeysuckle rose conditioner and gbp shampoo. I am not going to dump it just because I have discovered something new, as it has done wonders for my hair over the years I have been using aveda.

Same here. It's made my hair silky and strong. I, too, have to alternate with a more moisturizing shampoo and conditioner combination...so I only use it once a week. My other wash is the more moisturizing one. :-)

I use it. I noticed that the results are better when I clarify before using it.

I still use Aveda DR. I usually use it starting at the 5 wk point when my new growth starts getting thick. It softens my new growth (4a/b) and I have less breakage. I use it w/a plastic cap/hooded dryer and leave it on 10-15min (I think the directions on the bottle (rinse right after dr cond. or rinse after 2-5 DR intense treatment are for people with a hair type different than mine that use the product) The shampoo and conditioners are staples for me.

Yep, used it this morning although lately I've been using Aveda B. I think it's more moisturizing and it's much much less expensive.

Yes ma'am. I am still an Aveda queen. But this time, I used a mixture of Aveda DR and Aveda Brilliant as a leave-in. My hair turned out incredibly soft. Still battling with the dryness but that's because I need a touch up. I'm ending my stretch early, I think...

The uproar was when everyone started jumping on it. Now, Aveda DR has quietly become a staple for many. There have been so many threads and so many raves, it is just understood that it is the BOMB!!! Still using it, still keeping liters in my stash:yep:
