It actually stays on my head the whole night through, so that's why I like it. And I couldn't imagine using a sleeping cap. Just because how it looks and I think it might be uncomfortable.

Yep. That's what I used every night along with my silk scarf. I put on my scarf and then put the DuRag on top of that.

Sure you can. I bought a satin bandana print durag back in April, and I sleep in it when I want to keep my hair neatly in place. Sometimes I wear it when I go out or under a hat on bad hair days. And I even see girls wear it on occasion. It's really not for guys, but we can wear it, too.

DuRags are great! They actually stay on your head all night!

My old boyfriend hated when I wore du rags to bed. I like a durag better than a scarf. It stays on your head better. The only problem I had with the durags that it mad my hair flat.

Who could care what a boyfriend thought about what you wear to bed, his eyes will be closed anyway.

I sleep in a Cristina drawstring bonnet. (Thanks hair buddy!

) I know I look like Mother Hubbard, but I like the idea of nothing rubbing against my edges or "kitchen".

But if you're looking for a scarf that stays on all night, check out the Cristina scarf with the "magic growth treatment". I'm very skeptical about the claims, but the scarf does stay on all night. It isn't slippery like most scarves. It feels like pantyhose. And it's a decent size, too. Don't get the one that says "satin gro", though. That one stayed on my head for about 5 minutes...

Sexy has its limits. I will not spend my every waking or sleeping moment trying to be sexy. I will be just as sexy being me du rag and all.

LMAO @ the sexy in a du-rag posts.

I like them so much better than other scarves. I'm very careful when/if tying it around the kitchen area. I've learnt so many different ways to tie that thing depending on the hairstyle.

I think I sleep in one too. Not sure. Got it from the BSS. Its a satin du rag/scarf that's curved at the front to go over the forehead and open with very 2 ties at the back which I cross at the back, then cross at the front and tie in the back.

I have to say one funny thing though that happened earlier this month and shows how I have hair on the brain. I was asleep and in my dream kind of, (light sleep

) I told myself that I didn't have my scarf on and I opened my eyes touched my head and the scarf had slipped back to above my crown! I have no idea how I knew that in semi sleep. I must've been awake enough to feel it was off and so woke up.

Talk about 'built in protection' mechanisms....

BRH you're a trip! I don't care how tired I am but I even if I drift I jump up out of my sleep if my hair isn't protected with something. I'f I have a nap the cushion has to have a satiny, slippery texture, that the only time I'll go without. I even refuse to lie on my man chest cause his top is the wrong material.
