Is $230 not an incredibly stupid amount for brastrap senegalese twists?

naturalmanenyc what brand hair was used for these? I'm really dissapointed about how this situation turned out. I really was not expecting this. At least I have a few other braiders I can check out. I'm really tired of these ridiculously high prices some of these people charge. Just because I have kinky hair!?! It's not rocket science, you know. I might just end up doing these myself aftertall. I am behind on my movie watching.

It was Janet Collection Afro bulk and a few pieces in front were Marley hair since we ran out of Janet hair.

I'm paying that much for bra strap box braids here in Houston (she called them cali braids), but they are the small ones and it includes hair

It seems like $200-$250 is common here in Chicago. But it includes hair.

On another note, my mind is completely blown about these pre-twisted Senegalese twists. I'm trying to find a crochet tutorial where the hair line looks good. I would probably wear them in a bun most of time and need that to look good. It looks weird in the tutorials I've watched.

Wow, in Houston? These stylists are really capitalizing off the popularity of braids. It's cheaper to get a weave.

Yep I want to get some box braids or Senegalese twists in Chicago and they are 200 with hair per my friends that have gotten them. Back in the day I got micros for 180. Last time I got Senegalese twists for 180 with hair. This is all in the Midwest. If I could find someone to do some braids for 100 I would be glad. I'm sure I could do them myself but they would probably be half done and I would get tired lol. They have taken 6 to 8 hrs in the past.

Last time I had 'em, they were 150 hair included, WL twists.

I prefer to do em myself for 10 dollars.

The salon where I get my beehive cornrows done charges $180 for SL; $200 for BSL; and $220 for WL Senegalese twists. The hair is included in the price.
