I'm wondering, does God get irritated with us? That is really rhetorical as I believ that he does. I often picture Him listening to our requests and thinking, "Why are you asking Me? I gave you the answers already and there were people kind enough to put it in book form for you to read."
I chuckle sometimes and think that the scenario is like getting a new gadget. It comes with an owners manual and even online resources that anyone can read. Yet people still call customer service (or a forum) for them to tell them how to make it work rather than take the time and effort to read it themselves.
I am beginning to think that God intentionally makes us wait or does not answer us so that we get irritated or frustrated and go seek the answer ourselves. Not from other sources (people, books, CDs, etc.) but from His Word. Then if we think we have our answer after earnestly searching His Word for it, He will confirm it.
I don't think that He plays games, but I'm just wondering, do you think that God gets irritated with us and allows us to get frustrated so that we go to the source - His Word?
