I heard good old fashioned cardio work-outs work great, for about 30 mins a day to get your blood pumping. I'm too lazy, so good luck with that lol.

There are a variety of "hair vitamins" people take, Biotin, Horsetail/Silica, Vitamin B complex, Flaxseed. I used to take Perfectil Skin Hair nails. But now just take Pregnacare - has everything in it and sometimes flaxseed oil. There's something I've forgotten...

Do a search there's LOADS on the various.

For me Horsetail seemed to do something, Biotin thickened my hair, flaxseed made it more lush (moisturised) and made my eyes shiny. Perfectil Skin hair nails gave me a nice glow:yep:

I used viviscal for about 4 months it made my hair lush and soft not sure about the hair growth though plus it was crazy expensive

ETA: Do a search for Ediese and Rabiaelaine (sp) on weave care you can wash and DC once a week and use braid spray mixed with infusium on your hair in the track base www.growafrohairlong.com

I heard that yoga causes blood to rush to the head which increases stimulation at the hair follicle

I heard on Dr. Oz's show yesterday to add Nettle and Horsetail extracts to your diet for shiny hair and they promote hair growth as well. :yep:

I agree with the ladies that said exercise. I have been exercising and eating a healthy high protein diet since sept. and my hair is growing like a weed.

Wow, I didn't know that exercise affected hair growth so much. Has anyone else noticed that their workouts affected their hair growth?

For Me:

Increasing Water, Exercise, Fruit, Veggies & Biotin or a Vitamin specifically designed to promote hair growthm and regular scalp massages.:yep:

yes yes a thousand times YES! In 2006 I used the elliptical pretty much every day. I ended up losing 51 pounds (from february 06 to janurary 07)and went from ear length to below shoulder. (wasn't even tryin to grow hair, that was just a bonus).

I was also taking a multi every night and drinking tons of water.

I wish I weren't so lazy now, I need to get back on it! Cardio WORKS!
