Interesting Site...

I was doing a search on John Frieda's Relax because I wanted some pictures of hairstyles where the styles didn't look shelacked (sp?) on. I found this site BLACK NAPPY John Frieda RELAX and it is very funny. It is this Af-Amer. girl's letters to JF about the Relax line.

That was funny!!! That last line by Blakgirl cracked me up. The scab!!! /images/graemlins/grin.gif /images/graemlins/grin.gif /images/graemlins/grin.gif

My sister uses a J. Frieda's product on my nieces natural hair. It makes the comb just glide through... she loves it..

I use the Relax shampoo, conditioner and serum when it is close to touch-up time. The combout yields less hair. And I am able to extend the time between relaxers. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Too funny...but oh so true. That's just like Cover Girl and the rest of them. Years ago we had to depend on Johnson and Johnson's Ultra sheen makeup...now they have 'all shades' of makeup(not just one shade..like back in the day). That's why I still buy my makeup from Fashion Fair and Flori Roberts, to name a few. Cover Girl can kiss my **** before I buy any of their make up.

A scab on her own boycott... LOL
I noticed the same thing about the John Frieda products a while back. The Relax line and the Frizz Ease line have a lot of the same products with very similar ingredients but different names. But the Relax stuff costs at least $1 more. I guess he figures he can squeeze a little more change out of black women...

I wear Cover Girl make-up! Well, when I wear make-up... But if they were charging more for 'toasted almond' than the lighter shades I'd throw it back on the shelf!
