thank you nissi for both compliments. I appreciate them very much  Oh to have your hair thickness :love4:

wavezncurlz if I have your GORGEOUS ringlets I would never straighten my hair :yep: Jus sayin' :look:

I think I'll buy this for my middle DD. She's never straightened her own hair and maybe this would be easier than a flatiron. Does it have temperature settings?

Whew! Hey ladies  Thanks again for the kind words! For some reason this thing didn't notify me on the email subscription, so sorry for delay...

How does it compare to the original Instyler?
BlackHairDiva, Hi BHD! Sorry, this is my first exposure to Instyler so I couldn't compare... How's BKT world treating you?

Beautiful results and beautiful curls! I love my Instyler! It always gives my DD and I great results.
Ms_CoCo37, I love your hair and all you to do encourage other ladies! I would love to see pics, please tag me next time ya'll do hair! :yep:

I want one after seeing your fabulous results! My maxiglide broke and I'm not sure I want another one. :(
wavezncurlz, you know your hair is lush and gorgeous!!! Yes, I like better than my old Maxiglide...I was feeling the softness of the brush and I feel pretty safe as long as I don't go overboard... I agree that you really never have to straighten and would do perfectly fine! I have to follow your regi for moisture when I wng...

ITA!!!! :yep:

cutenss, I am grateful for my hair, but sometimes the bulk can a bit much, esp to manage in semi-corporate setting...

It looks great!!!!!
Thanks thaidreams, beautiful thick hair, I have always thought our hair is similar in texture, though of course not the length...

sipp100, I knew you couldn't resist! LOL! If she has your skills, and with you coaching her, she should be fine... because the brush helps tame the hair if the technique is already down. Here's a pic of how the heat settings are configured; sorry so big.

Unfortunately it is hard to know precise temperature... ok, looked it up: "Three temperature settings. The Instyler has different settings for various hair types. High is for thick, coarse hair and heats to 385 degrees; medium is for thin to medium-textured hair and heats to 315 degrees; and low is for fine, thin hair and heats to 285 degrees."

Thanks guys - I rarely ever straighten -maybe 2 times a year. When I did more often, my hair was more damaged and less ringletly/more wavy.

You know this reminds me of the old brush curling irons (anyone remember them from the 80s?). I used to use them instead of the all metal ones because it was easier and I always burned myself on the metal ones.

Well please don't jeopardize those curls! But please tag me when you do! :yep:
