Instant weave - question

I got a wavy, synthetic instant weave and wore it 2-3 times. I meant to wear it for about 4 weeks before throwing it out, but I got sick of taking like 20 minutes to blend my real hair in every morning. I was wondering if I were to put the weave on (with the clips) and leave it in for the whole work-week (tying it down at night, of course) would it cause damage to my hair (esp. the hairline)?

Any input / advice is greatly appreciated.
