Dang, this is a trip.
Your situation sounds almost identical to mine.

I have just spent the first part of the day writing out a six page Dear John letter to my SO( he has no idea).

I too have decided to let go.
It's just time.

We are not on one accord and I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.
And like you I just need to focus on me.

I also feel that 2008 is gonna be a great year for those of us starting over.
I'm sorry you are going through this.
