Infamous LHCF Bandwagons - Which was your favorite?

Hey all! I was thinking about all of the bandwagons on this forum and wondering what happened to a lot of them. Here are some that I remember:

-Neutrogena Triple Moisture Bandwagon (what happened to this one anyway?)
-MTG (still going strong I think!)
-Henna (still going strong!)
-MN (aka the coochie cream bandwagon!:lol:) - I'm still thinking about jumping on this one
-Cayenne Pepper in your conditioner
-ACV rinses
-Daily CO-washes

I'm sure there are tons more - What am I missing? Which ones did you join and which are your favorites?

Lenzi's Request....I'm luvin' this stuff, even if it didn't grow the hair, I love the texture and the way it makes my scalp feel.

Also baggying - which I dont really do consistently
Protective styling

Elasta QP Mango butter??!! Haha, I jumped on this one too back in the day.

Well, I remember reading the threads where people were raving about Indian hair oils and Amla Oil seemed to be the most popular one. I know that as soon as I finished reading the threads, I headed straight to eastwestbazaar.com to buy some lol. :D

Hmmm. well just about every major product line has a bandwagon with pushers (bandwagon drivers) and hitchers who jump on and off :lol:

-NTM, MNT, Nexxus, KeraCare, Aveda, Kenra, Deep Brilliance, CON, etc.

Capilong (haven't heard much about this one anymore)
Surge/MTG/ Neosporin / Frenchees/ straight sulfur and a slew of other hair growth product bandwagons

Indian Hair/ Lacrefront weaves Bandwagons

Dirty Hair Challenge Bandwagons

Clean Hair Challenge Bandwagons

Scalp Massage Challenge Bandwagons

Crown N Glory Bandwagons

Essential Oil Bandwagons

MSM/Biotin/Insert Vitamin or Supplement Bandwagons

Ceramic Iron bandwagons or Steam Iron Bandwagons

Organic/Chemical Free Products Bandwagons

"Texlaxing" Bandwagons

Protecting Styling Bandwagons

Stretching Relaxer Bandwagons

No heat/ Low Heat Bandwagons
 
My favorites: Protective styling, low heat, relaxer stretching, texlaxing, clean hair/frequent washing bandwagons. Still ridin' strong.:lol:
 
The "length" challenge bandwagons
MTG
Deep conditioning
CW daily or every other day or misting
baggie method
no SHS
No shampoo
ACV
Henna
Amla oil
None/minimum heat
Protective styling
Vitamins: viviscal, B23, biotin, aminos etc, etc...
No cuts just S&D on the ends

The Christmas stretch challenge..good for most, not so good for me. I can't believe I went 5 months with no relaxer!!!!!


never again. I still don't know how I dealt with all the tangles! All that new growth! All that hair!!!!!:eek:

baggy method is my fav.....i don't do it at all that much anymore, but it did and still does make me pay close attention to my ends
 
You forgot about the "you gon be bald if you don't use coochie grease on yo head bandwagon" or was I the only one on that one?:lol:

Hilarious!! :lol:

- Im still on the Phyto Bandwagon
- Stretching
- For some strange reason im on a wig/weave kick even though i have plenty-o-hair. I just got my new Fall in the mail and it is SO FLY!! Pics coming soon..lol
 
Conditioner washing....still very awesome for my hair!

Apple cider vinegar rinses.....still love this as well. This helps rinse away any shampoo residue.

Protective styles...well I was wearing sew-in weaves a few months before joining the board...so it very easy to jump on it!

Henna.....this stuff is great. My hair is stronger and has a healthy sheen/shine!


ETA: Dominican conditioners....it was cool but I found cheapie conditioners like VO5 and Suave to work just as well and available locally. I had to jump off this one.

Faster growth bandwagon- No Surge or MTG for me. I don't trust that stuff. My hair will grow at its own pace, thank you very much.
LUST-What ever happened to that one? I tried LUST and it was very good but I eventually forgot about it.
CW-Yes!

Henna-Very soon.
Minimal or no heat-Yes!
Dominican conditioners-Yes!
