Ok, my hair is natural, 3c/4a. Normally, I have to work with dry hair, i usually do my bun and im off. Well my friend and i decided to twist my hair (just regular two strand twists). Washed it, conditioned it, let it dry overnight, blew dry it in the morning, and added some pure rosemary oil and this other oil. Felt like my normal dry natural, blowdried hair. We proceeded in twisting it, while adding some natural oils to the ends after we finished twisting it. Felt fine. (Very cute, never got so many compliments). Slept with a satin bonnet, got up the next morning, went to the bathroom, applied some natural oil (i don't use grease, all natural para mi) and WOW, ohmigoodness, can we say, BAM BAM BAM, i have NEVER felt my hair like this in MY LIFE. It is so smooth, i run my hand over it, and it jus falls right off cuz its so conditioned and healthy. I am speechless, its like the twists have altered the way my hair feels.....im in shock....try twists people....its amazing...but it also cud have been the stuff i used....hmm...

leaving us hanging, what is this "STUFF" that worked so well for you?
Come details please

Well, since i am all for the organic, paraben free stuff....i got a lot of it at whole foods or online. This stuff isn't that expensive either!!!

Jane Carter Solution (featured in essence magazine)
"Nutrient replenishing shampoo and conditioner" (this stuff made me feel a difference immediately after i rinsed just the shampoo!)
Shampoo:Throw away those other shampoos. This shampoo gently cleanses your hair and scalp restoring it to a normal ph balance. It is a natural based shampoo with extracts of Coltsfoot, Lemon Balm and Myrrh. The combination infuses moisture into your hair, leaving it shiny and bouncy. It's gentle enough to use every day and it smells great. Your kids will love it because it de-tangles too!

Conditioner:Sometimes you find a product that is the best you've ever tried. This is one of those! This product works the best with heat. We use ingredients that permanently bond to the cortex, increasing elasticity and strength. Your hair will be in better condition than ever before. Nutrient Replenishing Conditioner does just what it says...Replenishes. After all, there is nothing better than soft, shiny, healthy hair!
(I also have the leave in and the pomade as well! Great!)

Have u guys heard of this stuff? Its really awesome....

Ok so.....which one did you use? You listed alot of shampoos and conditioners. Or was it just the oil that gave you such a good effect?

Actually, i used all of them...i noe that sounds bad, but i used all the shampoos, and then all of the conditioners and sat under the heating cap, rinsed out, sectioned, went to sleep, and blew dry the next morning...

So would you be able to pin point the best conditioner and best shampoo from the list? Or have you always used them all at the same time?

Hmm....the best shampoo would be the jane carter, but the lemon from avalon organics is a clarifying, so thats for a lot of build up.....

Normally tho, jus the jane carter n ur set to go...

Yesterday while in WholeFoods I picked up the African Glory Hair Oil smelled it and put it down. Is it good stuff? If so I'll add it to the wish list.

verry good, u know, i have noticed, that most of the really good stuff for your hair, doesn't really smell all that great, example:MTG, it seems that all the natural smells we are not used to since nowadays we're so used to smelling the additives such as fragrance.....just reflecting,

but yes, that african glory oil is wonderful, all u have to do is look at the ingredients lady! Its all the great oils in one!

I know this is a late post, but can u please tell me how long is your hair? i'm trying to achieve two strand twists on my hair. The problem is that the twists look fuzzy and I can't get them to lay strait. Can u help me out with a tip, please? :violin:
