I've been enjoying PC since my henna treatment (that's when I first learned about it) and it's great to use after shampooiong and just before deep conditioning. :yep:

ETA: spelling correction: "shampooing" lol

Mannnn, I was just at the beauty supply store yesterday eyeing this but opted against it because of the price. However, based on the reviews it seems like it's worth it. Also, after my minor mishap with my relaxer today, I'm gonna need to pick some up on monday to restore the moisture back into my hair. Now, I wish I picked it up as I initially intended.

Thanks for the review!

I have never tried it before a Deep Conditioner. I will try it like this next week. (since I am already sitting under the heating cap now.)

No i dont use it as a deep conditioner I wrote that I use it after my shampoo ..before I do a deep condition...I just let it sit in my hair 5 min after working it through my hair then rinsed out then deep condition

This sound good. I think I would like it mixed like this. I like the way the Porosity Control Conditioner makes my hair feel, but it is just too watery for me. It makes for a good after relaxer rinse because of the pH, but I just get sick of it for regular conditioning. Mixed like this sounds good to me.

Porosity doesn't do much for me when used alone either for some reason. But when I mix a couple dabs with any ho- hum conditioner it makes it work soo much better. I find it works great with ORS Paks, which didn't do much for me alone, Nexxus Humectress, the pink Sunsilk Mask among other ones I can't remember at the moment.

I am going to try it like that.

The next time Sally's has a sale on getting a bottle. The last time it was buy the conditioner get the shampoo free - my staple shampoo - so I was down with that. I forced myself to use it up after touchups, but I did not repurchase because I did not really love it.

It did make my hair soft, but I don't know, it was just too watery for me. I like my conditioners to be thick and creamy. I am going to get one and try it with some Motions Moisture Plus. That sounds like it would be very nice.

Oh yeah, you definitely need PC when relaxing. I do one neutralizing poo, then put on PC conditioner and let sit for 5 minutes, then rinse and do the rest of the neutralizing poos til it's all out. My relaxers have never been the same. No more dry hair after relaxing and no big clumps of hair loss, which I had for years and years. ;)

I mix it half and half with Motions Moisture Plus conditioner.
I tried this yesterday and I could not keep my hands out of my hair today. I am 14 weeks post and my hair feels like silk. Thanks for sharing myco!!

I used PC conditioner this way as well after my last relaxer and I had great results as well. I don't think many stylists take neutralizing our hair as seriously as they should, I probably lost a little more than a regular wash.

Notice to all LHCFer's: It is not a part of relaxing to lose a huge sinkful of hair. If you lose that much hair something has gone wrong.

Does anyone use the whole set? Steps 1-3? Has anyone tried the Porosity Control Extreme Pak?
Porosity Control Extreme Pak: Step 3 in the triple protection haircare system. Weekly treatment that delivers intense conditioning to dry, porous or damaged hair. Equalizes hair’s porosity for new elasticity and styling ease. Can be used daily or weekly.

Re: In love with Porosity Controll

Thank you to all who raved about PC. I just got around to trying it and my hair loves it. I've used it with Herbal Essence and with Praital. My hair is soft and bouncy! Its a staple for me now.
