I just wanted to share something with you - this might not come as a surprise to anyone since its not exactly a new thing.
This morning in the middle of prayers something was revealed to me (again). My family and I have had a rough time these past 3 years or so and now we are at a critical point. I have been asking God - why? Why are these things happening to us? Why didn't He lead us along another part.
In the middle of my prayers this morning I drifted off and remembered something that happened to me when I was 17. Something small, meaningless at the time which ended up being a focal point - something that I needed when I was going through one of the worst traumas of my life about 6 years later. I thought, God knew this was going to happened and 6 years before He put this thing aside for me. If He hadn't my life (and that of my family) would have been completely changed - and not for the better.
Then I thought about this thing. This small thing that was put aside for me, was also was also prepared for. Because for me to get this thing God moved a lot of obstacles. It was as if for the first time in a long time I was seeing how the points in my life connected.
So here I am. I don't know why these things are happening to us but its good to know we are meant to be here.
I know when people say things happen for a reason . . . it is not always comforting but know that God has a plan.
