I always use it without heat. I've never tried it with heat and i dont plan on it either. hey, if it aint broke, dont fix it

I started using this last month too. I love it!

At first I was using it 2 times a week...sometimes 3...but I think once a week is better.

I leave it on for 2 to 3 hours before washing it out.

I really like Aubrey GPB and I'm addicted to the scent. I have to stop myself from sniffing it,Lol. I like it better without heat as well.

I do that then a deep cond. and it only makes my hair stronger, besides supposedly the cuticles are open then and my hair will take the GPB rite in..
Before this product i used Jheri Redding Natural Protein (cant find anywhere)

which was also an A+ product

Since January I've been adding ~1tsp of GPB to my homemade moisturizing spray and I'm quite sure that it's been responsible for the increased strength of my strands. (My hair is braided by every now and then I take one down to examine my hair's health). I love GPB - I love that it's a relatively gentle protein treatment, it's high in protein content (on the ingredient-list) and it smells good.

It's funny how the smell of GPB is nice to some, and a lil strange to others!!

I have to admit that I don't like to use it that often, cuz I'm not too fond of that herbal-ly scent...

I probably won't buy it again once my bottle is finished, either... I think I'll stick with my Keraphix...
