I have very, very thick relaxed hair. I got a relaxer about 4 weeks ago after waiting 10 weeks. I don't think I'll wait 10 weeks this time because I got some awful breakage. Anyway I already have a lot of new growth at week 4. So I would like some sugesstions on how to style my hair now that I have a lot of new growth. I plan on waiting 8 weeks to relax, but I need some good suggestions on how to wear my hair. I tried doing braidouts with cornrows last time, but experienced too much breakage. Thank you in advance for replying.

Do you have any flexi-rods? A nice flexi set can last a week or more, which means less tampering with your hair. I saw a girl in the salon with natural 4a hair get a flexi set done, and once the stylist was done, you woulda never known she was natural!

No I don't have any flexi rods but maybe I'll try something like that. I also want to try a twist set. Does anybody have any instructions on how to do this?
