Your hair is beautiful, I wish I only shed that much and I have less than half the length you do.

Has anybody recognized that she said she's gonna cut her HIPLENGTH hair to BRA STRAP LENGTH!!!!?

Are u kidding me?!?! I would KILL to have your length right now!!!

Gorgeous hair gurlie! I love it SO much!

Congratulations!

Can I ask what you think cutting it will do if you are still experiencing excessive shedding and breakage? Won't the problem be there at MBL as it is at HBL?
You said you are cutting it in order to handle your hair and that your goal is HL? But you are there now... :look:
Girl, I'm just not getting why you need to cut

Congrats! You definitely look HBL to me! Lovely!

About the breakage and shedding, are you taking any meds? Do you have an iron defeciency or a thyroid problem?

I think I might be shedding due to post partum hormonal change. I am 4 months post and the same thing happened with my previous child. Either that or the new relaxer I have been using. SE lye. I've read on some threads that it increases shedding, so I'll just give it another try and see what happens.

Gorgeous hair!!!! Maybe you should try taking some garlic pills before you cut that pretty hair.

I use garlic oil on my scalp, but it does not seem to be doing much right now. I might try taking oil internally though. I have some kyolic garlic oil. Would that work as well?

I know, it does seem a bit drastic but I don't really have a lot of time in my hands to give my hair the proper care it needs. With a new baby and a 5 year old that seems to have the social calendar to rival that of royalty, I barely have time to do a good DC. I also am exercising 5-6x week (trying to lose those last 10 baby pounds) and my hair is sweating like crazy, so the ng gets jacked up right quick. If I plan on rollersetting more than 1 x week, I need to be able to dry much faster than my current 2 hours!

Of course, this does not mean that I don't plan on going back to HL in the near future, its just that at this particular moment, a little shorter is more practical for me. Who knows, if I figure this whole thing out soon enough, I might be on my journey back to HL before you know it! Either way, I will be posting pics of my new do next weekend :)

:bighug: to all of you wonderful ladies!

Beautiful hair! I don't think that you have a lot of shedding for the amount of hair that you have.

Congratulations on making your goal. I hate to see you cut your hair but I am looking forward to seeing the new pics.

 BEAUTIFUL HAIR! Congrats on reaching HBL ! In regards to your shedding, have you tried Henna? It's messy but it sure did work when my hair suddenly started sheds locks :perplexed (It was pretty scary but the Henna stopped it in its TRACKS) I only did it that one time and I haven't had a problem since :yep:.

My stylist decided she could not give me a big cut all at once. Instead she said she cut a few inches and then, if I still wanted to cut more in a couple of weeks, she'll do it at no charge :yep:

Here it goes. She cut it to WL. I'll try living with it for a few weeks and then decided if I want to go shorter or if I'll stay there for a while.

And why haven't you been feature of the month again???

Your hair is fabulous! Beautiful! Gorgeous!

Yeah, I don't know how they decide who gets to be the feature of the month. Thanks for thinking of me though!!

I won't!! You should have seen my stylist's face when I said I wanted her to cut. She is like "You are letting me near your head with scissors??" is why she just cut a little. She did not want me to make a decision I would later regret. We'll see how I do next wash day...

It's nice to hear that a stylist was actually thoughtful enough to cut a little at a time rather than hacking first then asking questions later...

Your hair is fabulous :drunk::blush:
