Imitation is the best form of flattery?

Many of you ladies w/ hair albums have distinct personal style and I was wondering do any of you take issue w/ being copied? I am just asking out of curiosity.

I wouldnt have a problem with it at all. I do believe that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery........ and while I dont necessarily want my (real life) next door neighbor going out and buying all the same clothes/shoes/accessories that she sees me rocking..... something like a hair buddy from on-line copying a hairstyle or a hair journal format would not bother me at all. I think we're all in this hair journey together, and if I can be an inspiration and of help to a fellow sista than I am very happy to be this.

I agree also I think that is the beauty of this board. I use to work with this girl who copied my style at work, everyday looking like the Bobsey twins was not cool. i would never tell her because she was a really nice person, but it really kinda annoyed me. I like to have my own individual style, but on a positive about the situation its good to know someone admired enough to even care to copy.

i dont have a problem at all, i have a hair album for that reason! to educate what works for me with visual proof. i know my hair is growing and pics arent nessessary, but i feel to prove my methods work to encourage!!! copy away, ask advice thats what i'm here for! and to learn..so teach me too!

I copy natural hair styles all the time. If someone copies me, than I am flattered. I consider it sistas bringing out the best in each other.

It is the spirit in which people copy you. For competition and jealousy really leaves a bad taste in my mouth but a meek spirit it is a compliment.

i love looking in everyones albums its the best way to see the different/new style and methods we can use to get growth. so yeah- i would be proper happy if someone copied/ was inspired by my styles LOL!
