...I think natural products are great (my regimen is based on only natural products) but PLEASE DO NOT MAKE YOUR OWN RELAXER!!!

I have nothing to base my opinoin off of, but companies have been tweaking the chemical composition for years and I would hate for something to happen to you because the chemical mix may be off or there is a random ion that interacted with something else... please, please, please purchase your relaxer.

*paranoid Nelle leaves thread...*

ETA: The link for the relaxer is basically a protein treatment, but if anyone else is trying to make their own chemical relaxer... please perish the thought!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'd never recommend that. Woah...:nono:

Its the naturalness in the products I wanna try so I wont have to spend money for new products. I wanna be able to make more when I need it.

My plan is to use the conditioner instructions add baking soda(from the shampoo instructions) and hopefully end up with cleansing conditioner.

Before I try it im gonna test it and pray. But thats a while from now I gotta finish all my store bought products first.

You can make a coconut relaxer which is less damaging. Coconut milk and yogurt won't hurt you.

All I really want is a non-expensive homemade cleansing conditioner the rest is for anyone else who wants natural alternatives to their usual products.
