Asking for prayer is never cheesy- in fact, it shows a desire to get the knowledge that you need for your test from the ONE that can truly help you. I pray that you are not only blessed with respect to this particular test, but that as a result of this blessing that you will begin consult the Father for all tests in life and in school. You are definitely in my prayers!

And it's not cheesy to ask someone to pray for you. When I took the MCAT, I had a prayer TEAM; all of my friends and family prayed for me. Some of them called the day before the exam and prayed with me, and of course I prayed for myself. Nothing wrong with it at all.
