I\'m SOOOOO excited!!!
I don't know if this is OT but if it is...Pebbles just move it to the OT board please.
My sister called me last night to tell me that she is coming in tonite. I'm going to pick her up at 7:30. The reason why I am excited is becasue for YEARS she used to blowdry her hair, dye it, relax it, use a curling iron, etcetera. I guess I must have given a lot of haircare speeches because I remember one time when I walked into the room while she was curling her hair she told me to shut up. She has always kept her short and one day out of the blue she said she wanted to grow it out and asked ME for advice. I told ehr about this board and some Yahoo boards. She joined but she only lurks occasionally. She is slowly becoming hair-obsessed, I mean dedicated /images/graemlins/laugh.gif, I feel sane when I call her to talk about my hair or to ask her hair about her hair.
She was supposed to move to NY after she gradutes this summer but has decided against it. I was slightly disappointed becasue I was excited about having a live-in hair aficionada.
Anyways, she's visiting for a week so I'll have a hair buddy!!!! I'm looking forward to getting honest assessments from her unlike my bf who says my hair is fine and it will gorw if I just leave it alone! /images/graemlins/blush.gif
But anyway, she'll give me the real deal. I kinda even want to get a touchup w/Marvin so that she can see what he does and tell me and so she might pick something up for herself. But yeah, I'm real excited--I can barely type this---becaue I have an offline buddy for a week! (The only downside is that she sure uses up a lot of products for someone with short hair----I better hide my stash--- /images/graemlins/grin.gif)
No but seriously, I am excited --not only about the hair but you know how it is to not be able to talk to a person offline abot hair w/o being looked at like you have three heads or like you are Medusa!
Now all I have to do is decide how I'm gonna wear my hair out tonight cuz she's finally 21 so we gonna party .....you know the rest...NO not like its 1999.....like its your birthday...... /images/graemlins/laugh.gif /images/graemlins/laugh.gif /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
