I'm so glad I dumped my stylist!

I am so glad you walked out. I hate when people don't respect my time.

I had a similar situation with a lady I was going to for my sew-ins. The first time I went to her she gave my appointment away because she said her blackberry crashed and she lost her schedule. She said she didn't have my contact information backed up because I was new so she could not call me to verify when my appointment had been scheduled. I was at the salon for like 6 hours as she worked me in around other clients. The second time I went to her she told me she had to leave and pick up her 19 year old daughter when she was half way finished my hair. She is the only stylist at the salon so she kicked me out locked up the shop and told me I could borrow her hat to hide my hair and go find food while I waited for her to get back. I spent that hour sitting in the car outside the shop with half a sew-in. Needless to say I have never been back to her salon ever again.

they roll their eyes becuase you not weavin it up and its all yours lol,

:lachen:I realized this year that they don't like me because I have too much hair which equals it eats up their conditioners LOL, its natural & long so it takes longer to do, and to add insult to injury I don't get any extras done (no relaxer, no hair color, no trim, no nada) so really I am persona non grata

Exact same thing happened to me when I use to get braids back in middle school. I guess since I was younger (14) she didnt care. As a 14 yr old though I juggled a lot on my shoulders (sports and musical performances). And one particular day I had something to go to afterwards. Anyway the lady told me to come extra extra early in the morning. She had 2 babies in home. She didnt start until after she fed and burped both. Two hours later she starts on my hair. She was braiding for a consistent 45 minutes before she got up to start cooking (for her husband who wasnt home yet). Another half hour later she comes back to work on my hair again. So anyway she gets up again to go to the restroom (which of course is okay, i mean she's human right). But when she comes back all I can smell is a strong foul smell of urine!!! And mind you when your getting your hair braided at someones house they dont have those fancy salon chairs, you either sit in a chair or on the floor. Because Im pretty short at age 14 and she only had dining room chairs with tall backs, I ended up on the floor with her legs around me :nono: :nono: :nono: I had to smell this ladys funk for 8 hours straight. It didnt help that I was very shy at age 14 so I just dealt with it

OMG I just threw up

It is so amazing how people treat their clientele, and then they wonder why they can't keep customers. Good for you for not going back.

This is disgusting. A lot of braiders/stylists need a lesson in professionalism. In this instance, this goes way beyond unprofessional, this is just straight classless and nasty. :perplexed
