I'm really falling in love with weaves [Pic Heavy!]

Hellurr...how yall durrr....lol

Hey Yall...I haven't been wearing weaves for a long time but I am starting to fall in love with them! I had my first install March of 09 and my second July of 09. I like them because they really help with my stretches. I normally stretch for about 12 weeks. Currently I am 12 weeks post relaxer and I plan to continue this stretch until Jan 1st. That would put me at 18 weeks post. I noticed significant growth with weaves after my last relaxer at the end of August and I hope to see similar results with this stretch. Here are some pics of my last sew in which I had in for the last 7 weeks and my current one which I just put in on wednesday :grin: :love:

I want a bob sew in like you too! That's really cute on you! And I'm sure when you take it out, people will say, "Where you been hidng all that hair girl?!"
 
I know how you feel, OP! An LHCF member just did a great sew-in on me a few weeks ago and it was great! I got a lot of great growth and really loved the "glamour" of long hair. I can't wait to get my next sew-in! :yep:
 
Yes, weaves are so addictive! I had to step away from the needle and thread lol!

Enjoy the weave love while it lasts it looks great!

ETA: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (did I say PLEASE) Be careful with the hair you leave out! I got so consumed with blending...(flat iron etc) I damaged all the hair I left out. All the braided hair blossomed but the part I left out suffered.
:) Full head sew ins are the best.....

Thanks! I used this hair called IndiRemi and the brand is called Bobbi Boss I believe...it was actually the same hair from my previous install :look:

You are completely right! That is what I'm most afraid of..so I'm sure to baby the part that left out on wash days and stuff...I dont know what it is about those full weaves I just can't get wit em...I feel like ppl think its a wig or something...smh

So true, when I was completely natural I suffered a lot of heat damage in the front the same way...
 
both of them look great!! the bob look really suits you. :yep:
kind of off topic, but you look like you hang with a really fly crew. :grin:
 
Your weave really looks nice! I've been wanting a weave for some time now, but I can't find anyone in my area to do it. :sad:
