I\'m ready to fill my shopping basket with hair products and...
I really would appreciate it if those who are familiar with Dominican products could help me customize my basket of goodies to start with. Currently I'm using Aubrey Organics GPB shampoo and GPB conditioner (I do like using natural hair products). I love the conditioner, but feel that because it has a little bit of protein in it, that it would keep my hair strong but not give me that burst of moisture I'm looking for. My hair is quite oily about three days after I wash my hair even after a good clarifying wash. My scalp produces enough of its own natural oils, and I suppose me wrapping it every night may contribute to that also. I don't use additional oil on my hair accept when it's time for a touch-up (WGO) or after I flat iron my hair but just with only a tiny bit of serum to tame the flyaways where the part it. So I think I may need a clarifying shampoo that doesn't strip too much, a moisturizing conditioner that's not too heavy or oily and a setting lotion that won't flake or leave any buildup when I wrap my hair and will also give a bit of a shine and moisture. So come on and let's start the advice column so I can take some notes. Thanks /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
