I finally put my hair away so I won't touch it to death (giggity) or chop it off. I did a full sew in. Took me forever, but I think it's the best one I've done so far. Only thing I don't like is the bangs, they're kinda wonky, but it's not bad.. it's about the length of my actual hair, a bit shorter, but because it's even it looks so much thicker. I actually like this style on me and will be super happy once my hair evens out so I can enjoy it. Pics...not many but yknow...I tried. I don't think I'll be doing this again for awhile tho, it took so long and all the finger poking...smh. Next time will be a quickweave.

Thanks yorkpatties! Maybe it's just cuz I hate bangs lol, but I don't think a full sew in can be donewithout them. I'm getting used to em tho.

Aww whiteoleander you made my day :) Thank you!

Thanks BlkOnyx! D.Lisha it's actually pretty easy but takes practice. My first one was a train wreck during a hurricane, I didn't even know how to braid. Now I can braid and this one is pretty decent, still not perfect, but it's only maybe my third or fourth one so it's a big improvement. I like being able to do my own hair cuz I can do it on a whim and I don't have to worry about someone screwing it up...unless that someone is me. Lol.

It looks good! :yep: Your bangs are just fine! Oh and you can try full sew-ins without bangs; my mom always did my weaves when I wore them and I rarely had bangs, but they were all full weaves. :)

yuhlovevybz My mom kind of used the "around and around method" sewed on top of a stocking cap or netting. Sometimes she created a closure; other times she made it look like there was a part in my hair though all my hair was covered. Mm I think as far as the technique goes what matters is how discreet you want the weave to be? Most people didn't suspect my weaves, but I do have seriously thick hair anyway so my scalp is not so easily seen even when my hair is straightened lol. Also, one thing you can do is maybe sew the hair in the same way you did but instead of cutting a bang, cut layers?

Here are some pics:
